Project description:
- At the soybean oil and oleins refining plant operated by Bunge Ibérica in Cartagena, IDEA Ingeniería is involved in the expansion of its facilities.
- The works carried out include both 3D modelling and piping design, as well as civil engineering design of bunds for the placement of 100 m³ tanks.
- The electrical installation and instrumentation are designed for monitoring the new piping lines and plant actuators.
- Piping lines are designed for the splitting of the existing facilities.
- Retention bunds are calculated and designed to accommodate olein tanks.
- The raising of the foundation slab for 1,500 m³ tanks is designed, and compliance with API 650 standards is verified in the design of these tanks.
- Steel structure platforms and connections are designed and calculated for tank inspection.
- Preparation of quantity take-offs and legalisation of the plant expansion project.
- Technical Management, Health and Safety Coordination, and technical advisory services for the construction works.
