Refurbishment of the Cerámica Football Stadium

Refurbishment of the Cerámica Football Stadium, with an investment of around 35 million euros, with 2,400 tons of steel, 12,900 m2 of roof and 8,700 m2 of façade, awarded to the local construction company ALVIBEN OBRAS, S.L. The duration of the project was six months.

The construction of the new stands in the corner, between the Preference and South End stands, thus achieving the complete enclosure of the stadium. The construction of the roofing of the North stand. Coverage of the entire capacity of the stadium.

Work performed

Design and calculation of the bolted and welded joints of the North Stand metal structure (1,500 tonnes) of the Cerámica Villarreal Football Club, with the aim of refurbishing the football stadium for the centenary.

Using IDEASTATICA software, which allows the design of all types of welded or bolted connections, bracing and complex joints.
