IDEA, as a concurrent engineering company, has carried out a pioneering hydrogen injection project at the ENAG\u00c1S regasification plant in Cartagena.<\/span><\/h3>\n

<\/div>[vc_column_text]The pilot project for the injection of hydrogen into the local network in Cartagena is intended to be a pioneering activity in Spain in terms of H2 injection into the gas network.<\/strong> The development of the project involved the creation of a consortium together with the Foundation for the Development of New Hydrogen Technologies in Aragon<\/a> (FHa) and Hidr\u00f3gena.<\/strong> IDEA Ingenier\u00eda will be responsible for developing the Construction Project<\/strong> that will make this pioneering investment in Spain a reality.[\/vc_column_text]

\u201cThe<\/span> goal is to obtain renewable gas to reduce the carbon footprint<\/span>\u201d<\/span><\/h3>\n<\/q>[\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text]Specifically, the implementation of phase 2 of the Renovag\u00e1s project has been proposed with the purpose of producingSynthetic Natural Gas (SNG) at the Cartagena Plant<\/strong> from H2 obtained by water electrolysis and CO2 obtained from the nearby industry for the self-consumption demand of the facility.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

Hydrogen Injection<\/span><\/h3>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]This project produces 100% clean green hydrogen<\/strong> from solar energy thanks to an electrolysis process that does not emit CO2. The green hydrogen generated is fed into the facility’s internal network mixed with natural gas for self-consumption, which maximises the plant’s energy efficiency and reduces its carbon footprint. It is also the first experience of real hydrogen injection into a regasification plant in Spain and Europe<\/strong>, supported by a small-scale electrical storage system.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_single_image image=”52602″ img_size=”full”][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column]
